Description
Roofing slate was mined in Pennsylvania and transported to the Southern States down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, on rafts. This piece of barn roofing slate, dates back to the 1800’s, and it was repurposed, off of an old barn in Harford County, Maryland.
This barn roofing slate is hand painted to express the excitement of snow, through the starry eyes of a young and jolly, snowman! The young snowman’s smile is contagious! This barn slate has several holes in it from the old roofing nails. Two of the holes were filled with a black leather strap for hanging the slate painting on a wall or house. Measures 10″ tall x 6″ wide. FREE STANDARD SHIPPING WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES.
