Description

Here is a chance to own a unique piece of history.  The history of the telephone has come a long way since 1876!  On March 7th, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell was issued patent #174,465 for “the method of, and apparatus for, transmitting vocal or other sounds telegraphically, by causing electrical undulations, similar in form to the vibrations of the air accompanying the said vocal or other sound.”  Did you understand all of that?!  If not, he was describing what is, the telephone!  Three days after receiving the patent, Bell successfully tested his telephone with great success, as he called and said, “Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you”.

This antique, wood, wall telephone, measures 22″ tall x 12″ wide x 9″ deep.  “Who ya gonna call?!”  Sorry, the phone is for display only.  The insides have been removed to lighten the weight for easier hanging.  Free shipping within the continental United States.
