Description

This is a front and back, framed antique exhibit, of a Thomas A. Edison, Diamond Disc Re-Creation, that has been professionally framed and matted in a natural tone, with an ornate wood frame.   The framing artist did a fabulous job of capturing and maintaining the integrity of this world famous, 1916 release, #80372 “Loin Du Bal” (displayed on the front side), written by Ernest Gillet.  In English the piano music is called “Sounds from the Ballroom”.  “March Lorraine” (displayed on the back side), was written by L. Ganne, and both songs were performed by, Creatore and his band.

History: Edison Diamond Disc Re-Creations are essentially different than talking machine records which had sound limitations, back in the day.  Edison Diamond Disc Re-Creations were the only true representations of vocal and instrumental music, as produced by living artists.  They were not mere shadows.  They are the very substance as live and living musical performances, which produce the same quality in a more alive capacity with all the emotions of the living artist.

This unparalleled achievement of Thomas A. Edison, represents the expenditure of a lot of money, and 4 years of tireless energy, from this great inventor and his associates, to provide the world with such an exceptional listening experience.  Artists lined up, for the opportunity to be perform, and be recorded on Edison Diamond Disc Re-Creations.  History like this, is a great addition to any music enthusiasts collection.
