“Shakespeare’s Book Store & Cafe,” was originally created by Artist Ruane Manning (Born 1939), who is an internationally reputed American Artist from Philadelphia. This specific piece of art work was created in memory of English playwright, poet & actor, William Shakespeare (1564-1616), who is widely regarded as the greatest English writer in the English language, and the world’s greatest dramatist. Artist Ruane Manning, has built his reputation over the years, for his ability to inject life into his artwork through the proper use of lights, dark’s, and minor details. Through a high heat process, his reprinted art work was applied to this piece of vintage slate. Measures 20” long x 6” wide x 1/4” thick, piece of old slate. Hangs by a brown leather strap.
