CLOWN CHALK SKETCH by WV ARTIST

This original chalk sketch is signed by West Virginia Artist, Art Fink, in August of 1948.  The clown is sitting backward in his chair, checking his makeup with a hand mirror.  Good use of colors for a baby’s nursery or toy room, if you don’t want too many primary colors, to overstimulate a baby.  Measures 31 1/2″ tall x 25 1/2″ wide x 1” deep.  Cream-colored matting.  Framed in gold hues and burgundy, wood.  Authenticated by the original owner, who received it as a gift for his own childhood nursery, and his mother was a longtime friend of the Artist.
